Welcome to Prantl's Bakery. We now have two locations! The original Prantl's is located at 5525 Walnut Street in Shadyside and is open 7:30am - 6pm, Tuesday - Saturday as well as Sunday, 9am - 1pm. Our newest location is open at 430 Market Street in Market Square, 7:00am - 4pm, Monday - Friday.

SEND A TORTE! Our famous burnt almond torte is now available for shipping. Send early to avoid disappointment - our torte freezes beautifully. Click on the "Add To Cart" button and follow the directions to have a torte shipped.
All tortes ship UPS. Tortes will be shipped to minimize time in transit (i.e. we will hold an order until Monday to avoid having the torte sit in a UPS warehouse over the weekend). Please tell us in the Special Instructions field if you'd like us to include a gift tag or if you require delivery by a specific date. Shipping hints: UPS "Ground" typically takes 1 day to communities in and neighboring Pennsylvania (e.g. Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Cleveland, West Virginia) and 2 days to the rest of the Northeast and Midwest (Chicago, New York, Boston) as well as parts of the South (Nashville, Atlanta, Myrtle Beach). For destinations further South (e.g. Florida, Louisiana, etc.) or West (e.g. Texas, California, Washington, etc.) we recommend using Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air.
